I have really neglected this blog for sometime now.

What have I been doing this whole time?

He is huge!

Try having to lug him around on your hip all the time.

I was able to visit my brother

who flew in from Arizona with his 2 daughters.

I love my IPhone.

I check facebook about 9875973493 times a day on it.
It's my "fake" husband while my "real" husband is gone.

It's my camcorder

My watch

My accessory

My flashlight in the dark.I can check my emails....

and the weather.

It's the perfect chew toy for my teething Spitball.

I take it to the bathroom with me to keep my company while I "dooooo" my business.

It's a game board for me and my chickens.

My GPS when I'm lost.

I wish it had a mirror in it,

so I could make sure I don't have food stuck between my teeth.

I can watch TV or Movies from it.

Listen to music.

I use it as my planning schedule because

I've got soooo many things going on in my life.

It handles all my banking.

I can even direct deposit a check into my account,

on the spot!

When I don't have my beautiful Nikon with me,

my IPhone takes its place.

Calculator.

Oh yah.....

I also use it as my cell phone.

My IPhone is all of this AND more.
Like for example....

when I'm having a "brown bag" moment,

my IPhone keeps me company

and

reassures me that I am loved.

It also keeps me company while I'm driving.

Especially

when I'm sitting at a red light.

It's always there for me,

holding my hand.

I love you IPhone.

I have found it interesting lately,

that we

ALL

think the same things

BUT

only some of us actually speak of it.

Here are some examples:

1. You hate that AFTER you take a shower,

you then get the sudden urge to poop?

2. Whenever you take off your underwear,

they ALWAYS land crusty side up.

3. Sometimes when you sneeze (as we get older *cough *cough) you sometimes tinkle in your undies.

4. You smell your own farts,

and feel complete satisfaction whey they stink like a rotten egg.

5. You see how long your hair will last before it gets so grease that it looks like lard on top of your head,

before you have to wash it.

6. You like to flick your boogers across the room and laugh when you hear it hit someone or something.

7. When your driving down the road,

and a bird is sitting right where your tire wheels go,

you secretly wish that it wouldn't move so you could "accidently" hit it.

8. When the gum that your chewing in your mouth gets old and un-flavorful,

you imagine yourself spitting it in someones hair.

9. When someone is getting on your nerves,

you imagine slamming their head against the wall.

10. When your outside wearing sunglasses and are engaged in a conversation with someone and your bored with listening to them,

you keep your head straight,

but your eyes are moving to look at other things going on in the distance.

11. You really enjoy scarring the crap out of your kids to the point that they cry.

12. You pee in the pool and PRAY that the water doesn't turn green.

Mysterious red spots

WTC

are these mysterious red spots on my kids heads?

They cover,

and when I say cover,

I mean

COoOoOVER

their heads.

These pictures do

NOT

at all do the

mystery red spots justice.

This is the top of Emma-Kay's head and another view.

This is Ian's forehead and the top of his scalp.

and the top of his head.

And here are some spots on Evan's head.

Isabel is the only one that doesn't have them.

well

besides me of course.

Ian has them the worst?

Do you have any idea what these mystery red spots are from?

I did find a very small tick on Emma-Kay's head this afternoon

BUT

I am certain that the small little itty bitty tick could not have made all those red spots

especially

since Ian and Evan both have them.

Spitball is 8mths

Wow...

I can NOT believe that my Spitball is 8mths old today!

Where has the time gone?

Here is the proof of why I call him

Spitball.

The evidence is ALL over shirt.He says,

"momma" and "dadda" all the time now.
He went to the beach for the first time
last weekend while his Grandma Mary was here visiting.
Do you know what his bIgGeSt accomplishment is
in his young life of 8 mths?

He is also starting to try and pull himself up to a standing position.
I said....starting.
He does have alot of weight packed onto his body.

Beach day with Grandma Mary

Grandma Mary is here visiting us from Michigan.

My chickens are keeping her on her toes

ALLLLLL

day long!

We decided to head to Lejeune's beach this morning.

It was the best day for it.

The kids had a blast digging in the sand,

finding sharks teeth and shells,

and actually getting in the ocean.

Here are just a few pics that I took.

Emma-Kay said that she had to pee while we were there.

I told her to go into the water and pee in the ocean.

And don't act like that is nasty,

because its not.

KNOW

that all of you have peed in the ocean before.

She actually pulled her pants down,

and started to pee.

We had to run over to her and tell her to just pee in her pants,

since she was already wet.

She freaked out.

She hated the thought of peeing in her pants,

but didn't mind the fact that she was all wet and had sand in all her "area's".

The Grinch butt....in all it's glory.

since I wasn't expecting them to get in the water.

Spa day

Last year for my 30th birthday,

my great sister friends,

Jessica, Summer and Candace,

gave me a gift certificate for a

Day at a Spa.

I have been holding onto it,

kissing it every night and sleeping with it under my pillow.

You could say that I've been savoring it.

I loved knowing that I had it.

But I never knew when the

"right time was"

to use it.

Well,

that

"right time"

was today.

I was super excited,

mostly because when I called to make my appointment,

I found out that it not only was for a massage,

but also for a manicure and pedicure!

I was in heaven!!!!!

I got ready,

and headed out.

When I turned into the the

Deluxe Day Spa

I would've linked the site,

BUT,

that would be like giving them a tip,

and since I didn't tip them AT ALL today,

I'm not going to be giving them one now.

Let me explain........

Doesn't the spa look cute?

I loved the flowers in the front.

But

I was nervous about the

"OPEN"

light in the front window.

Well people...as you all know,

looks CAN,

and in this case

ARE

very deceiving.

As I walked into the "spa" as they call it,

I was asked to fill out a 3 page information sheet.

Yes...3 pages!

They wanted to know everything about me.

Who my doctor was?

Have I ever been hospitalized?

Was I allergic to anything?

I needed to list my emergency contact.

Do I eat my boogers?

Okay, well maybe not that one.

But seriously....my emergency contact?

What are they planning on doing to me?

I'm just getting a massage/mani/pedi.

I also had to sign a waiver stating that if anything happened to me while getting my massage,

that the massage therapist,

would not be held accountable.

That was probably my cue to walk out.

But I couldn't.

I had to use my gift certificate.

As I walked back to the massage room,

the massage therapist was looking over my 3 pages of information.

I had a feeling she was going to say something to me,

because I didn't fill out any of the information they were requesting,

but my name.

I'm pretty sure that me being allergic to Penicillin,

and her knowing that I've had 4 c-sections,

a tonsillectomy and my wisdom teeth removed,

wasn't needed for her to be able to rub the knots out of my neck.

Maybe.......

it would be needed if she was going to murder me,

cut my organs out of my body

and sell them behind the stores dumpster

for money to buy her a new hair weave.

The room was not at all relaxing.

Sure,

the lights were dimmed and there were candles in the corner shelves.

But the music she was playing,

was more for her,

and not so much for me.

She had her own personal Ipod in it's Ihome,

listening to her own personal play list.

Not to mention,

I felt like I was in Antarctica.

I quickly got na-ked....but looked at every inch of the room to make sure there were no hidden cameras.

I slide under the sheets with my face down in the donut,

and waited on her to come back in.

The massage was alllll-right,

not the best I've ever had,

but definitely the worst.

I'm not going to complain about that too much,

because I needed it,

and it felt good.

After my massage,

I got dressed

(again, really quickly)

and went to pick the color of polish I wanted on my nails.

I picked

"cotton candy apple",

in other words,

RED.

The girl that I am presented to,

that would be working on my hands and feet,

sat in front of me playing on her blackberry as we were introduced.

Again,

another cue to walk out!

Lets just call this chick.....

Skank...

you know,

for the sake of my blog.

Here is Skank,

working her magic on my feet.

Please take note:

she is wearing her sunglasses inside her work environment,

as a headband.

She also had some really weird cleavage going on,

but since I took these pictures with my Iphone,

I couldn't zoom in for you.

(Don't worry, if your wanting to see cleavage....remember I am getting my tube socks fixed, and will post pics when they are done.)

Anyways, back to my complaining about my free spa day.....

So,

here I am sitting in my massage chair,

reading a magazine and taking pictures of Skanks weird looking cleavage....

and she gets up and walks away from me.

She tells me that the purple crap she just coated on my feet needs to sit on them for 5-10mins.

Okay, fine....I'll buy that.

Oh,

also note that she is wearing gloves......are my feet that stinky?

Too stinky for a Skank?

Well

5-10 mins,

turns into 30mins.

I am fUmMmMiNg!!!!!

I'm texting my besties...telling them how freaking annoyed I am.

I was doing the nasty clearing of the throat technique...not working.

I try the glaring of my brown eye laser beams...again, not working.

I do the really annoying *sigh*...not working.

I even drop my magazine on the tile floor....nope, completely ignored.

Finally,

she comes back over to me.

At this point,

I then notice that she has the best looking nails I have

EVER

seen in my life!

Blue tip fake nails.....

I was so tempted to get them myself,

but then I remembered that I had already be in the freaking

"spa"

for

3 HOURS!

Would you like to know why it was taking the Skank sooo freaking long to finish me up?!?!

Because of.....

Old Lady Skank.

She was working on Old Lady Skank....

instead me,

Moi.
(Do you like how I used that word Michele?)

Note how the Old Lady Skank is wearing a very classy tube shirt.

She is also so freaking lucky,

because she has 2 sets of boobs...or maybe its a sidewards butt?

She stole her jean shorts from her granddaughter,

no lie either.

I was privileged enough to actually listen to their

ENTIRE

conversation.

I will tell you that both the Skank and the Old Skank work in a bar together.

I'm sure you never would've guessed that.

As I was leaving,

I tried to get a picture of the Old Lady Skanks designer purse.

Again,

it was taken by my Iphone,

so it's fuzzy.

It's a very vintage piece,

dating back to 1981.

I HATE WEDNESDAYS

I need to own this shirt!

Seriously.

If I did,

I know that I could make a cubillion dollars selling this shirt

to all the moms that live on base and have kids in preschool or primary schools.

Let me tell you why

I HATE WEDNESDAYS
and this one in particular.

-I wake up knowing that I have to go to the commiSCARY with 3 chickens in tow.

-The forecast today is calling for rain all day, with scattered thunderstorms in the early morning. The early morning of course is my destination time.

-I get to the commiSCARY and run into Renee. She is loading her car full of groceries and leaving, as I am just getting my kids in the cart to head in. What it must be like to go grocery shopping without ANY chickens.....someday (sigh).

-I get stuck behind this little old lady. She insists on pushing her cart (that is much taller and weighs way more then she does soaking wet), down BOTH lanes of traffic. I was down the cake aisle, just inches from the end of the aisle were I could hurry up and make a sharp turn and avoid being behind her....BUT.....she is now blocking traffic and taking her sweet ol' time looking through coupons. She must be able to feel my HUGE BROWN LASER EYE BEAMS starring at her, because she turns to me and says, "are you waiting on me"? "yes I am"!!!!! I'm thinking that she doesn't have her hearing aids in because she continued taking her time. I finally got fed up, that I made a U-turn even though I was just inches away from the end of the aisle.

-Somehow....I end up behind this same old lady again....

-When I come out of the commiSCARY, it is pouring down rain. Of course it is!

-The oriental bagger (yes, I said oriental, leave me alone...this is my vent), put her cart full of my groceries right behind my car, leaving me blocked out, so I couldn't get my 3 chickens in the car. All our feathers were soaking wet!

-I laid all my chickens down for a nap, after I put all the groceries away. This is to include my baby baby chicken who is teething and not sleeping well.

-I decided to treat myself to a very much needed nap. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out for the count! But I knew I could only nap for about an hour or so,

because today after all is

WEDNESDAY.

This means its early release for Isabel in school.

Instead of getting out at their normal time of 3:15,

they get out out 1:45.

This might not seem like a bad thing right?

WRONG

it is the

WORST THING EVER!!!!

-I figured my natural motherly internal clock would remember to wake up in time, to get the other chickens up, and get in the car to pick up Isabel since it is pouring down rain.

-NOPE, my natural motherly internal clock must of ran out of batteries. Because I was way into drool city when I heard a noise. That noise was the ONLY reason I woke up.

-I had to rush, and wake up ALL of my chickens. Remember that baby baby chicken I have that is teething?.....Well I had to wake him up from his deep dark dreamland.

-I still have to get my house clean, because my mother-in-law will be my house guest for the next 5 days, starting tomorrow. I plan on leaving her with the kids as much as possible and fleeing far far away...for as long as I can.

It's only 3pm,

and

this

WEDNESDAY

isn't even close to being over yet.

I'm sure that since I am blogging this....it will only mean one thing.......

even more really really ridiculously bad things will happen.

I HATE WEDNESDAYS!

Pile of Feathers

The devil took over this chickens actions today. The devil

"made"

him do something inconceivable,

to his younger chicken sibling.

This was the instrument that was used.

And this is the 1st pile of feathers I found laying on the carpet.

I'm pretty sure that a real live bird could have used this to make an

nest for her baby birds.

to grow that many feathers?

Needless to say,

Mother Hen was none to pleased!

She grounded the devil possessed chicken to the coop for the

and he was warned,

Mother Hen

will take him to the farmer and will have his

ENTIRE

head plucked!

I love this picture of my dad with my chickens....

sadly,

my Spitball is missing....

he was fast asleep during this photo-op. This picture is so funny.

We were watching a vampire and werewolf movie

(I can't remember the name of it though)

...and no,

it wasn't Twilight or New Moon.
Emma-Kay and Ian were scared.

I love their expressions.

Ian is so intense.

My dad always puts the kids to work when we go visit.

They LOVE helping Grandpa.
Look at those muscles.

Emma-Kay was really into watching Grandpa clean the machine.

She sat on his leg and watched him,

and of course

asked him a million and one questions about it.

Emma-Kay and Millie are friends.

Let me explain:

If Emma-Kay didn't want anymore of her food,

she would

"accidentally"

let Millie take it from her little hands.

So,

they have a win win relationship.

My Spitball sat in the highchair that I used when I was a baby.

TV Stand

One

of the things

that my sexy Fox and I

said we wanted to buy while he is deployed

(and he gave me his blessing to buy),

is a new TV stand.

This is the TV that we have for our living room.

And as of right now,

it sits on an old, black, cheap, broken, TV stand,

that my Fox had from his bachelor days.

It has seen better days.

I'm surprised that it is still standing after making through 7 moves.

I've been looking for something NEW for it to be sitting on.

I think I need a

corner TV stand.

In all the times we have moved,

we always seem to put the TV in the corner.

Then it only makes sense to get a

corner TV stand,

doesn't it?!?

Field of flowers

Last week I went up to Virginia to visit my parents for Spring Break.

On your way to their house,

you travel on a really lovely farm country road.

There are quite a few horse and cow ranches.

It's a very peaceful drive.

As we would come and go from my mom's house,

we would pass this field of beautiful wild yellow flowers.

And every time we would pass them,

I would say that I wanted to stop and take pictures of the kids in them.

And so I did......

My dad came along with us,

and

took this picture of me with all my chickens.

I felt very rushed taking these pictures because Evan was screaming his head off almost the entire time.

I also wished I had waited to take them around 7pm,

so the sunset would've been prettier.

Oh well....
